36invisible news

a minor update

things are moving along steadily on the writing and development fronts at 36invisible so far this year.

in the works is a feature-length documentary (currently submitted for a major grant—fingers-crossed) and two feature-length narrative screenplays (both in various stages of revision).

Red Letters will also be touring with IFCT in the UK, Los Angeles, Orlando and New York City in the coming year and we’re definitely looking forward to that.

stay tuned.

thanks la friends

thanks to those kind friends in la (you know who you are) who attended the screening of red letters at the la shorts film festival. you all are incredible! wish i had been able to attend with you, but…

it’s festival submission season again… see you at the next one!

la shorts fest!

red letters has been officially selected to screen in the 9th annual los angeles international short film festival! the festival dates are sept. 6 - 13, 2005 at the arclight, hollywood. red letters will be screening as part of program #27 “damaged goods”, on thursday sept. 8th, in theater #12. the section begins at 7:30pm.

it’s finally time!

after a long and trying year, red letters is finally complete! last friday i returned from los angeles on the red-eye with an answer print of the finished film and am really happy with the completed product.

although my stay in l.a. was really brief, thanks to the great people at deluxe labs, nt audio, and my amazing friends annika and will, everything went off as planned (more or less) and the print was completed in time to be screened in the 2005 nyu first run film festival later this month.

more info about the festival screening will follow. stay tuned!
